The adjacent video shows a quick fly through on an Infraworks model that I created as a conceptual design reference only. The entire roadway surface and the "hatching" come from corridor components utilizing easy to use, yet complex subassemblies that I created using Subassembly Composer. The storm network utilizes custom made components that I created using Inventor and IPE. I produced the entire SUDAS catalog to the exact specifications for accurate design. Contact me if interested in other custom items I can produce for Autodesk softwares.
The adjacent 360 panoramas were put together to simply show the actual Civil 3D components that I built to the exact SUDAS specifications. These parts were exported straight from there layout in C3D and ultimately brought into Lumion to make the panos. I created every part in the SUDAS sanitary and storm catalog. Now my co-workers can design with full spatial awareness and complete confidence that their plan and profile call outs will have correct data. Additionally, the reference point for each structure is exactly what SUDAS calls out but many structure have multiple rotation points making it very easy to lay it out just as needed. Lastly, each part has been assigned quantity take off codes which makes gathering quantities very efficient.
